Opening Ceremony Held for the Second Batch of Tailored Class Students of LiuGong–LVTC International Craftsmen Institute of Thailand

From News Center (Text by Yang Xianyu from the School of Automotive Engineering; Photo by Zeng Rongshuo and Chen Yue from the Convergence Media Center) On June 4, the opening ceremony for the second batch of tailored class students of LiuGong–LVTC International Craftsman Institute of Thailand was held at the Ingenuity Academy of LVTC. The event was graced by the presence of Ju Hongxia, Vice President of LVTC, and Xiang Dongsheng, General Manager of LiuGong Machinery Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (LGAP), as well as relevant personnel and student representatives from LVTC and LGAP, marking a new milestone in college-enterprise cooperation.

During the opening ceremony, Ju Hongxia warmly welcomed the nine international students from Thailand. Ju emphasized LVTC's commitment to offering high-quality teaching resources and training services, aiming to enhance students' skills and support their career advancement. Ju expressed five wishes to international students from Thailand. First, Ju hoped that they could swiftly adapt to the new life while complying with Chinese laws and LVTC's rules and regulations. Second, Ju encouraged them to forge new friendships in China. Third, Ju wished for them to savor the flavors of Liuzhou Luosifen and admire the beauty of the Liujiang River. Fourth, Ju urged them to prioritize physical fitness. Lastly, Ju wished for them to study hard at LVTC to master professional knowledge and skills. LVTC's school motto is "high ambition, diligent study, tough spirit, uncanny ability". Ju expressed hope that all students would reap a rich harvest after their four-month study at LVTC and eventually excel as valuable employees of LiuGong.

Xiang Dongsheng introduced LiuGong's business operations and development in Thailand, extending warm congratulations and robust support for this tailored class initiative. He highlighted Thailand as one of LiuGong's major markets in Southeast Asia, noting that the company presently employs 89 personnel in the country. The students in the tailored class can engage not only in after-sales service positions but also in maintenance and accessories-related positions. Xiang expressed hope that the students in the tailored class of 2024 would dedicate themselves to improving their skills and knowledge, achieving proficiency in both English and Chinese languages, and ultimately joining LiuGong successfully.

Wongrinyong Kittipong delivered a speech on behalf of international students. He mentioned that studying at LVTC is a promising start and offers a valuable opportunity to refine his skills. He expressed hope that this learning journey would enable his to achieve personal growth and continuous improvement, thereby making contributions to the enterprise. Kunrueangtanarat Jirachaya, an international student representative, expressed in Chinese that this was her first visit to China, and she was thrilled that her dream had finally come true. She expressed her hope to make friends in China and collaborate with them in the future. She also expressed her deep gratitude for the opportunity to study at LVTC.

Later, the leaders of LVTC and LiuGong presented work uniforms and gifts to the international students from Thailand, encouraging them to cherish the time and courageously forge ahead.

The first batch of tailored class students of LiuGong–LVTC International Craftsman Institute of Thailand has completed their training successfully. Six of them have now joined LiuGong with remarkable results. The ongoing progression of the tailored class program will contribute to the technical exchanges and talent development between China and Thailand.

The opening ceremony signifies a new phase in the cooperation programs between LiuGong and LVTC, offering more students greater opportunities for career development. In the future, LiuGong and LVTC will certainly achieve more outstanding results in technical talent development and international exchanges.
